Cubbington C of E Primary School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, and highly motivated Manager to lead 'The Nest', our brand new before and after school provision. This is a very exciting time to be joining our team as the successful candidate will play a key role in establishing the facility and building a team committed to making this a place that children love to be and parents love to use.
We enjoy excellent relationships with pupils, parents and the church, where trust and good communication are the bedrock of our success. The staff are welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable, always eager to share a good joke or a cup of tea and a slice of cake. We are a truly inclusive school, continuously looking to improve the learning experiences of our pupils, whilst considering our staff member’s work-life balance
Experience of working with children and leading a team is welcomed but not essential - we will provide relevant training where required.
As a Wrap Around Care Manager, you will:
• Manage and lead a team of play workers effectively to deliver excellent childcare provision
• Monitor and review the quality of care for children, working to national standards
•Provide food and drink as agreed
•Ensure the collection, maintenance and updating of data/records relating to children and staff, providing reports as appropriate.
• Review, amend, update 'The Nest' policies and procedures in accordance with national and local requirements
