Sysco is a leader in the design and delivery of Audio Visual Technology Solutions for some of the world's most celebrated immersive visitor experiences.
In exhibitions, museums, stadia or theatres, space is our blank canvas to engineer a story and our foundation for re-imagination. We started off in the pre-digital age as theatre and concert designers, working with light and sound to create experiences for artists such as Bob Marley and Jimi Hendrix. Now we use AV technology to bring our visions for different spaces to life, to create experiences that provoke human emotion and create long lasting memories.

The Solutions Architect is a cross-departmental resource focused on pre-sales and early design phases of projects. The SA is expected to work on multiple projects concurrently, prioritising and scaling their time as required to meet the business needs
The Solutions Architect (SA) is a key role in the organisation as they link R&D, Visualisation, Business Development and Delivery, reinforcing quality and excellence in Sysco’s technical ability, and de-risking the transference of opportunities into projects.
In pre-sales and early design phases, to meet with designers and clients to provide expert technical guidance in defining the AV solutions that will best suit their design intent, proactively identifying opportunities to interface with the visualisation team and promote Sysco’s technological and creative capabilities
~ As the named SA on projects be responsible for proactively engaging with the lead and support engineers to ensure a ensure a “four-eyes” approach to engineering output and offer breadth and expertise to the engineering team, in a targeted high level manner ensuring that the vast majority of the project output is done by others
~ Through their exposure across the board to opportunities and projects they are in a unique position to advise on industry trends and where Sysco R&D resources could be best applied.
~ To identify opportunities in pre-sales and on projects to introduce applied R&D and engage with the Account/Project Manager to action
Wide industry knowledge of technical innovation and at least 10 year’s experience as an AV designer
Good understanding of IT and networks.
Demonstrates excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively and work on multiple projects concurrently.
Strong IT literacy.
