Position Summary:
This role is perfect for an experienced cyber security recruiter who is stronger on the Delivery side and extremely detail orientated when it comes to data management.
As a Researcher in our USA Search team, you will be essential in identifying and attracting high-calibre candidates for VP and C-Suite positions. Working closely with our Principals and Directors, you will support the delivery of search assignments through comprehensive research, market mapping, and candidate identification in the cyber security domain.
Key Responsibilities
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough research to identify potential candidates for executive-level cybersecurity roles across various sectors, including technology, finance, healthcare, and government.
- Analyse industry trends, emerging threats, regulatory developments, and company security postures to inform search strategies.
- Develop detailed market maps and talent pools of qualified leaders in cyber security.
Candidate Community Management:
- Utilize a variety of tools and platforms, including social media, and professional networks, to identify potential candidates.
- Maintain and update candidate databases with accurate and timely information
Client and Consultant Support:
- Collaborate with Consultants to understand client needs, role requirements, and the specific technical and leadership skills required for live searches.
- Prepare detailed research reports, candidate profiles, and long lists for client review.
- Assist in the preparation of client presentations, proposals, and other documentation, providing insights into the cyber security talent market.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a highly researched field e.g. History, English Literature or Philosophy.
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience recruiting within cyber security is a must.
- Strong knowledge of the cybersecurity industry, including key players, trends, and challenges.
Skills:
- Excellent research and analytical skills with the ability to fuse technical and market information.
- Proficient in using search tools, Boolean, and takes pride in their CRM.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
