Vision for Education are recruiting for an English teacher for a maternity cover in Blackburn starting October 2024.

Vision for Education is currently recruiting an English Teacher for an excellent academy in Blackburn.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS and will be a subject specialist in English. If you are an English Teacher that can enthuse and motivate students, then this exciting opportunity is for you.

This role is a maternity cover starting October 2024 and will run till May 2025

The school

The school is situated on the outskirts of Preston and prides itself on high level teaching and therefore looking for a teacher that demonstrate excellent subject knowledge. The successful English Teacher will work in a supportive and friendly department and wider school environment. The school is forward thinking and benefits from a proactive Senior Leadership team.

To be considered for the English Teacher position, you will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Have experience teaching in Secondary schools, ideally up to GCSE and or A level.

• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
