Overview

Unique Sports Group (USG) are seeking a passionate, forward-thinking Content Manager to help accelerate the company’s ambitious off-pitch strategy.

This role will see the successful applicant work closely with management and the off-pitch team to ideate, pitch and execute a bespoke content strategy that will benefit both the company and its clients.

We are looking for an individual with a strong knowledge of professional football and a passion for storytelling. They should be proficient in leading the full content capture process (ideation, capture, editing and delivery.) This includes static photography.

It is also highly desirable that the successful candidate has experience in working with elite-level talent.

Key Job Roles

· Delivering a fully comprehensive company content strategy that benefits USG’s clients, key stakeholders, and company brand.

· Work with the Head of Social to evolve the ‘USG’ look and feel that will sit consistently across all owned and managed digital channels.

· Work pro-actively with the Head of Social across multiple individual client social media accounts to better USG’s content offering to them.

· Provided proficient photography services for company, client, and brand-related content material. This also includes live-match photography.

· Work with the Head of Social to keep company channels fresh and populated, in line with the Social Media strategy.

· Experience pitching to and working with brands to develop and deliver sports-orientated commercial content.

· Keep ahead of trends and be the designated content expert within the company.

· Work with other heads of departments to assist with brand partner acquisitions and client recruitment.

· Regularly and proactively develop and refresh internal company marketing content such as pitch videos and company overviews.

Required Skills

· 3-5 years of experience within the sports industry (preferably football).

· Advanced knowledge of professional camera equipment.

· Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (or equivalent)

· Ability to direct and manage a comprehensive freelancer database.

· An entrepreneurial-like spirit and desire to help drive forward the business.

· Experience working with talent.

· Understand that working weekends/unsociable hours in the week are to be expected given the football/sporting calendar.
