Southdowns Manor is a family run, multi award winning exclusive use wedding and events venue situated between Midhurst and Petersfield but within easy reach of Chichester and Portsmouth. We host around 200 + exclusive use events per year and pride ourselves on customer service excellence and always providing the best product. Due to this we have built up an excellent reputation within the South Coast and beyond.
We have a close-knit team throughout the entire venue and rarely have positions such as this come available. This is an ideal opportunity to get involved in the exclusive use wedding and events industry which is very different to the hotel and restaurant industry. A rareopportunityto have a healthier work - life balance in this industry.
We are looking for a candidate who has previous experience within the hospitality industry, particularly in housekeeping departments or similar. We will also be looking for the successful applicant to hold the same values as the whole team at Southdowns Manor offering a truly bespoke service to the highest of standards every day.
This is a full time role based on 5 working days per week. Roughly around 30 hours per week.
The successful applicant will:
-Have previous experience within housekeeping and hospitality
-Have experience working in a busy enviroment
-Understand stock rotation and ordering
-Be proactive
-Hold and undertake the same principles set out by the Operations Manager & senior management i.e. having a friendly, non-intrusive, professional approach to all guests and always going that extra 10%
-Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures
Hours of work will be morning to early afternoon. We are always as flexible as possible with working hours and appreciate a healthy work life balance for everyone.
Your own transport is essential due to the location of the venue and lack of public transport amenities locally.
