Partners with customers, partners and internal stakeholders to shape IQVIA’s technology ecosystem and data platform strategy. Build and maintain a comprehensive understanding of internal and external business needs and the global technology landscape to define IQVIA’s relationships and interdependencies across technology companies. This role will drive decisions on which technologies and platforms will help IQVIA achieve its long-term strategy including enabling innovative delivery mechanism and approaches across BUs.

Essential Functions

  • Support IQVIA global technology strategy framing across BUs and corporate functions
  • Accompany change of our core offerings and data platforms. In the context of evolving our technology ecosystem, propose innovative and commercially viable approaches for IQVIA BU to deliver incremental value
  • Maintain a deep understanding our healthcare and Life Sciences customers’ tech ecosystems and objectives
  • Monitor and evaluate the global technology environment to identify emerging trends, interdependencies, current and potential partners future-fit, and competitive threats
  • Define ecosystem framework and conduct rigorous due diligence of current and potential key vendors and partners’ strategy to assess fit with IQVIA ecosystem strategy
  • Propose strategic partnerships with technology companies that align with our company’s strategy to integrate our ecosystem
  • Lead all Global Technology & Operations strategy, Tech & data platforms ecosystem discussions

Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.

Requires exceptional business business knowledge, general management and leadership capability to lead business or functional teams. Extensive knowledge and network within IQVIA having worked for several groups or BUs within the organization. Excellent business acumen, portfolio and GTM understanding.
