Location: London, UK (1-2 days in the office per week)

This position represents a unique opportunity to influence the future of investment management solutions at a leading financial services firm, leveraging your expertise to make a lasting impact.

Role requires a Snr and a seasoned Senior Product Owner to spearhead the development and strategic direction of our client emerging investment management platform , which is poised to revolutionize the landscape with offerings such as stockbroking strategies, government securities (Gilts), SIPPs, ISAs, and more.

This role requires a visionary leader passionate about the fusion of technology and finance and t he successful candidate will be a visionary leader with the skills to advance the platform offerings, addressing the dynamic demands of customers and the changing regulatory environment within the stockbroking industry. This includes knowledge across various investment vehicles such as indices, bonds, SIPPs, ISAs, ETFs, Gilts, and mutual funds, employing a diverse strategy that integrates Hybrid Models, Direct-to-Consumer (D2C), Business-to-Business (B2B), Business-to-Business-to-Consumer (B2B2C), White Label Solutions, and API-Driven Partnerships.

Overview:

We're on the hunt for a dynamic and innovative Product Owner to lead the launch and ongoing enhancement of our pioneering investment platform, focusing on stock brokerage. This role is crucial for steering the development, execution, and scalability of brokerage-related initiatives, ensuring we surpass our clients' expectations in the ever-evolving stockbroking landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Be the principal Product Owner for significant initiatives, driving strategic projects with a blend of technical prowess and market insight.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with diverse teams, ensuring cohesive product development and delivery that aligns with our vision. (Such as Product Management, Brokerage Functions, Investor Relations, Technology, Business Transformation, Client Support, Marketing, Legal & Regulatory Affairs, Market Insights, and Data Analysis, to guarantee unified product evolution and implementation.)
  • Product Innovation and Deployment: Lead the creative process, development, and introduction of extensive solutions within the stock brokerage platform. This encompasses a range of offerings from government securities and global trading capabilities to initial public offerings (IPOs) and refined order parameters.
  • External Partner Engagement: Cultivate and sustain strong connections with essential allies, including WBS, Broadridge, and ETF suppliers, to ensure the successful delivery of strategic enhancements that resonate with our overarching goals.
  • Market Expertise: Deep dive into the stockbroking industry, using your insights to fuel platform growth and ensure our offerings are meticulously client centric.
  • Solution Design and Launch: Lead the design and launch of comprehensive solutions, enhancing our stock brokerage platform to meet the sophisticated needs of our clients.
  • Third-Party Liaison: Forge and maintain strong partnerships, aligning propositional enhancements with our strategic objectives.
  • Regulatory and Compliance Oversight: ️ Ensure all product developments adhere to market regulations, maintaining the highest standards of compliance.
  • Performance Monitoring: Manage the delivery of performance reports, leveraging data to drive decisions and improve efficiency.
  • Customer Focus: Champion a customer-centric approach, fostering a culture that prioritizes client needs and drives team engagement towards exceptional service standards.
