Stock Condition Surveyor

We are proud to be partnering with a leading multi-disciplinary construction consultancy who offer a comprehensive range of services to the housing sector. They are looking to appoint a Stock Condition Surveyor on an 6-month temporary contract. In order to make an application, simply read through the following job description and make sure to attach relevant documents. This will be a full-time position initially based in the Oldham area. There are over 5,000 surveys to be completed in this contract with the rates being £20 per house & £17 per flat. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience conducting stock condition surveys on social housing units and have a full UK driving license. Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Conducting stock condition surveys on Social Housing units
- To ensure buildings are designed and constructed so that there are appropriate provisions for the early warning of fire, and appropriate means of escape in case of fire from the building to a place of safety
- Knowledge of RdSAP in order to fill out a small number of questions in each of the surveys
- Liaising with and engaging with residents in regards to work carried out
- Achieving the required surveys per day based on relevant targets
- Experience conducting stock condition surveys
- Social housing environment experience
- Monday – Friday
- 40 surveys minimum per week
