Reporting to the Head of FM & HR Procurement, as the Procurement Operations Manager you will play a pivotal role in nurturing internal and external relationships, fostering teamwork, and ensuring that our Train Operating Units and Maintenance Division feel supported, and aligned with the business core values. To ensure our execution is delivered efficiently and to policy. To support the UK Trains Procurement team with Facilities / Human Resources-related procurement activity.
Broad range of sourcing activities across all categories but primarily Human Resources & Facilities Management
Project support is provided to the Head of Procurement(s) on nominated projects.
the delivery of agreed savings targets and added value targets and measures.
the active management of supply risk & and contract implementation
production of Management Information, reporting, and semi-complex data analytics.
Advanced Experience with the Microsoft suite of applications (inc Office 365), including macros, pivot tables, lookups, slicers, and dashboards with excellent PowerPoint presentation skills.
Previous procurement experience gained in industry covering FM specifically desirable but not essential.
Commercial risk management and contract management
Ability to manage a wide range of supplier relationships, from short-term tactical relationships to long-term Strategic partnerships.
Ability to communicate with, impact, and engage effectively with senior Stakeholders both inside and outside the Arriva Group.
