Vetlife is a large, veterinary practice with 26 clinics throughout the South Island, providing our customers with a friendly high quality service. 

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our Ashburton team in a full time, permanent role.

About You:

  • Have previous vet tech experience or experience working with production animals on farm and sound animal handling ability
  • You may have a recognised vet tech qualification
  • Have the ability to work calmly and effectively and an eagerness to learn and contribute
  • Enjoy working outdoors within a small team

  About the role:

  • Provide a high level of client service on farm working with production animals, including teat sealing, disbudding, calf weighing, heifer monitoring, blood sampling
  • Administrative support including; data entry, report writing, work planning and booking
  • Assisting vets on farm
