Full Job Description

The business development leader for Affinity GB will haveresponsibility for delivering profitable new business into this newexciting Line of Business in the UK. This is a new senior positionreporting directly into the Head of Affinity GB. It presents a uniqueopportunity to develop and execute our go to market approach utilisingour full breadth of affinity solutions within a high growth area WTWis investing in. You will be working closely with other keystakeholders in the GB and the wider Global Affinity units and UKCorporate Risk and Broking colleagues, leveraging the opportunity toadd value to existing client relationships balanced with securing new(to WTW) business.

AsBusiness Development Leader your primary focus will be on seeking outand realising major strategic business opportunities across the UK inline with striving to exceed our strategic financial growth plans. 

The Role

Key Responsibilities:

Ownership of business development activities and goals:

  • Executing effective annual go-to-market plans for newbusiness
  • Secure new business in line with financial growthtargets set.
  • Identify key decision makers and influencers,generating positive relationships and recognition of our capabilities.
  • Drive awareness of and demand for WTW Affinity solutionsboth internally within WTW and externally across our primary targetmarkets

Collaboration and Reporting:

  • Facilitate regular two-way interaction with internal CRB and HWBcolleagues, sharing data such as pipeline activity, leads and targetmarket initiatives to drive greater collaboration.
  • Workclosely with our affinity marketing team to develop and execute oncampaign plans and initiatives to support lead generation andawareness of WTW affinity solutions.
  • Regular interactionwith Affinity Sales colleagues in other countries to foster bestpractice and international business growth
  • Fulfil regularand ad-hoc pipeline reporting requirements, maintaining accurate andup-to-date records in MS Dynamics.
  • Qualify and evaluatenew business opportunities in line with WTW GB Affinity governancestandards
  • Lead the co-ordination of proposals andresponses to bids ensuring optimal profitability.
  • Devisecomprehensive win strategies ahead of major proposals and bidresponses, in order to optimise win rates.

  • Lead business development activity andsupport the establishment of a high-performance sales culture in amatrixed team environment.
  • Act decisively, andautonomously, and manage challenging deadlines effectively.
