IT Engineer Needed

As an IT Engineer, you'll lead:
Advanced management and optimisation of critical IT systems, including leading-edge patch management strategies.
Swift and decisive response to IT support queries via the company's specialised help desk, ensuring seamless operations.
Crafting and customising high-performance laptops and servers tailored to the specific needs of defence and government projects.
Execution of diverse IT tasks, spanning from frontline support to intricate operational manoeuvres essential for mission success.

Proven expertise with a minimum of 5 years in the IT domain, demonstrating a commitment to excellence.
Mastery in providing 1st and 2nd line IT support, with a relentless focus on efficiency and efficacy.
Proficiency in administering complex environments including Windows, Linux, and MacOS systems.
Hands-on experience in Active Directory management, encompassing intricate account setups, group configurations, and DNS optimisation.
Familiarity with cutting-edge VMware platforms such as ESXi and vSphere, coupled with adeptness in proactive system monitoring.
In-depth understanding of avant-garde patching methodologies, networking protocols, and hardware components such as switches and access points.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Powershell or Bash, enabling seamless automation and optimisation.
Familiarity with cloud computing services, particularly AWS, to unlock new frontiers in scalability and flexibility.
Extensive experience in configuring and deploying operating systems across diverse platforms, from conventional desktops to sophisticated server environments.
