An elite US law firm, regarded band-1 for insurance and reinsurance advisory, are seeking a talented Associate to join their London team in the second half of 2024.
With a focus on both transactional and advisory work, this role presents a fantastic opportunity for individuals with 2-4 years post-qualification experience.

Responsibilities:
Assist in a wide range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, reinsurances, portfolio transfers, public and private financings, and corporate restructurings within the insurance sector.
Provide comprehensive regulatory advice to insurance and reinsurance companies, sponsors, and other entities, covering areas such as authorizations, regulatory capital, investments, solvency, and permissible activities.
Represent various parties involved in transactions, including purchasers, sellers, target companies, cedants, reinsurers, and investment banking firms, ensuring their interests are safeguarded throughout the process.
Actively participate in sales and marketing activities, contributing to the firm's visibility and reputation as the go-to firm for corporate insurance matters.
Work closely with our tight-knit and driven team, collaborating on complex matters and striving for excellence in all aspects of our practice.

Qualifications and Skills:
~2-4 years PQE in a reputable law firm's insurance practice or related field, with a strong academic background.
~ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with enthusiasm, drive, and initiative.
~ Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks effectively and delivering high-quality work under pressure.
~ A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to take ownership of tasks and projects.
~ Commitment to professional development and a desire to contribute to the success and growth of our practice.
~ Willingness to engage actively in marketing and business development activities, promoting the firm's services and enhancing client relationships.
