Are you enthusiastic about positively impacting the lives of post-16 students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD)? Situated in Sutton, London, this SEN College is dedicated to providing outstanding education and support to post-16 students with ASD and PMLD. This is a full-time, long term role with a view to going permanent. Collaborate closely with the SEN team to identify individual student needs and personalise programs to support specific goals and aspirations.
Stay current with industry trends and adapt curriculum content to align with prevailing employability standards.
Possess a relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, QLTS, etc.).
Previous experience in teaching and curriculum design for students with ASD and PMLD.
Familiarity with best practices in employability education and transition planning for young adults with special educational needs.
Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude toward working in a SEN environment.
