About the Role We are seeking a compassionate and driven Family Hub Practitioner to join our Children's Services team. You will be part of a dynamic Family Hub workforce, contributing to the delivery of universal "Start for Life" programs and a broader range of evidence-based interventions supporting families. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by promoting positive child development and well-being in line with the Greater Manchester Early Years Delivery Model. This position is initially offered on a fixed-term basis until the end of March 2024, with a strong possibility for the role to be extended depending on future funding and service needs. Key Responsibilities Act as a key point of contact within the Family Hub, guiding families towards support services, particularly focusing on those most in need. Deliver one-to-one and group-based support for children, young people, and families, addressing areas such as infant feeding, early learning, perinatal mental health, and parenting. Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a multi-agency approach to safeguarding children and delivering early help services. Provide strengths-based early interventions, including home learning and emotional well-being support, to promote healthier lifestyles. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records following Council guidelines and provide feedback to continuously improve services.Requirements Relevant Level 3 qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Early Years, Childcare, Health and Social Care).
