Monthly/Quarterly chance to win vouchers Adore recruitment are working with a disaster response company to hire a Leak detection Specialist. This company respond to flood disasters for high net worth value properties. They have a highly respected reputation in the industry for delivering outstanding service levels. As a specialist high net worth leak detection technician you will attend properties that have been affected by an escape of water with water damage and be required to provide an assessment and report of cause of the damage. You'll be working on behalf of high net worth insurers where the average policy cost £30,000 per year. What the role includes:
• Attending water damaged properties and assess damage and provide trace and access/ leak detection reports.
• Undertake any leak detection or trace and access works which includes, water leaks in cold and hot feed lines and underfloor hearing and heating circuit leaks.
• Competency in acoustic profiling, thermal imaging, gas tracer equipment and dye testing.
• Manage distressed individuals or property owners, explaining what you are there to achieve and manager their expectations.
• Manage, tutor and inspire junior staff and lead jobs from start to completion.
• Perform risk assessments and other health and safety led paperwork.
You'll get extensive training to help you work to your best ability. Please only apply to this position if you have a full UK Drivers license and live near to the M25. Their work is within the high net worth insurance sector, meaning they are instructed by insurance companies and are expected to work within certain guidelines and follow specific criteria. You are expected to provide a service that responds to a disaster in an individual's property by managing that situation efficiently and effectively. Key Skills & experience required
• Excellent grasp of both written and verbal English
• Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
• 2-5 years' experience within a similar business
• An ability to understand an individual's concerns and manage a customer's expectations
• Honesty, ambition and common sense are essential
• A strong grasp of plumbing processes and also building construction is helpful
