Company Overview: We are currently working with a global construction company that are based in Manchester they have been around for over 50 years and have a large product range that they provide for their construction clients. Due to growth they are looking to add a graduate or junior engineer to the team

Position Overview: As a Junior Research and Development Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, testing, and enhancement of our product line, driving innovation and ensuring our continued success in the global market. The role will involve assisting the Company in its product development activities including research, detailed design, innovation, prototyping, testing, manufacturing, and existing fleet maintenance/upgrades. As well as researching into new business services/initiatives. Assisting with the project management of new product launches into the business
Working with Research and Development Team in producing manufacturing drawings for new products and modifications
researching and testing manufacturing methods and materials
Load testing and material testing of new and existing products
Perform researching tasks for the new Research and Development projects

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Construction Field.
Either a graduate or 1-2 years of experience in product development or engineering design, preferably in the construction industry but open to Mechanical or mining sectors
Proficiency in CAD software (they Use Inventor, AutoCad)
Passion for innovation and a desire to contribute to the advancement of construction technology.
