Residential Service Manager
Are you seeking a fulfilling role as a Residential Service Manager in the scenic South Kent area? We are currently seeking a dynamic Residential Service Manager to join our team and oversee our residential care services.
The residential home provides care to those with Learning Disabilities. You will be supporting individuals with Autism, challenging behaviour and Phsychosis. You will need to have a good knowledge of CQC and experience working with those who have complex Learning Disabilities
As a Residential Service Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our residential care facility, ensuring that it operates smoothly and efficiently.
- You will oversee a team of dedicated staff members, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
- Develop and implement person-centred care plans tailored to the individual needs of our residents, ensuring their safety, well-being, and comfort.
- To support service users to ensure that their physical, social and emotional needs are met.
- To support the personal development of each service user, ensuring that they are treated as an individual with their own unique support needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment within the residential facility, promoting a sense of community and belonging among residents and staff alike.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and requirements, ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed diligently.
Proven experience in a managerial role within the residential Learning Disability care sector, ideally as a Residential Service Manager.
- Good knowledge of CQC.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices within the residential care sector.
- A relevant qualification in health and social care management or a related field would be advantageous.
