The Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser will be responsible for growing and maximising income from charitable trusts and foundations in order to support the charity's aim of inspiring everyone in Scotland who cares about mental health to support theiractivities.

Key responsibilities of the role will be:

  • Maximising income from charitable trusts and foundations to support the charity's aims
  • Developing compelling proposals and cases for support that align with the charity'sstrategic projects
  • Building relationships with new and existing midlevel grant funders
  • Following warm leads in order to apply to new trusts and foundations for funding
  • Maximising income to ensure the growth of both restricted and unrestricted fundraising
  • Working in partnership with the wider fundraising team

Key requirements

  • Excellent communication skills,
  • Strong writing skills the ability to write persuasively
  • Experience gained from a similar role within a charity
  • Experience of working to and exceeding targets
