A respected organisation, committed to excellence, seeks a meticulous HSE Coordinator to bolster its team. Specialising in Chemicals, our global presence underscores our dedication to quality and innovation, with paramount emphasis on health and safety. This role is tailored for individuals with a profound understanding of health and safety protocols, ISO standards, and environmental management systems. The ideal candidate exhibits impeccable organisational skills, proactive engagement, and exceptional communication abilities. Key Responsibilities: Champion adherence to stringent health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies. Conduct thorough risk assessments and meticulously oversee site inspections to mitigate potential hazards. Drive initiatives to enhance health and safety awareness and promote a culture of proactive risk management. Ensure compliance and safety adherence to ISO standards and HACCP Collaborate closely with regulatory bodies to ensure environmental compliance and uphold industry best practices. Provide invaluable support to the QSE Manager and Factory Director in executing health and safety : NEBOSH certified. Proven experience in a Safety role for Manufacturing - Chemicals or similar is preferred Strong knowledge of ISO standards Degree in Chemistry or Life Sciences discipline would be advantageous but not essential.Location: Blackburn Permanent: £30k-£35k (dependent on experience) Hours: 08:Mon-Thurs), 08:Fri) Benefits: Annual bonus scheme. Pension scheme Free food provided. 35 days holiday including Bank holidays. Sick pay after 12 months service. Training will be provided.
