This role is tailored for individuals with a profound understanding of health and safety protocols, ISO standards, and environmental management systems. The ideal candidate exhibits impeccable organisational skills, proactive engagement, and exceptional communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Champion adherence to stringent health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
Conduct thorough risk assessments and meticulously oversee site inspections to mitigate potential hazards.
Drive initiatives to enhance health and safety awareness and promote a culture of proactive risk management.
Ensure compliance and safety adherence to ISO standards and HACCP
Collaborate closely with regulatory bodies to ensure environmental compliance and uphold industry best practices.
Provide invaluable support to the QSE Manager and Factory Director in executing health and safety strategies.Requirements:
NEBOSH certified.
Proven experience in a Safety role for Manufacturing - Chemicals or similar is preferred
Strong knowledge of ISO standards
Degree in Chemistry or Life Sciences discipline would be advantageous but not essential.Location: Blackburn
Permanent: £30k-£35k (dependent on experience)
Hours: 08:00 - 1700 (Mon-Thurs), 08:00 - 1500 (Fri)
