Salary: £40,000 per annum + service charge/tronc
Contract: Full-time, 5 days out of 7, including evenings and weekends as required

We’re working with a luxury country house hotel in the South West of England to appoint a Front of House Manager to lead their guest-facing operations. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing reception, duty management and nights, ensuring a seamless experience from pre-arrival through to departure.

The Role:

Lead, support and develop the reception, duty and night teams
Oversee the full guest journey, ensuring warm, professional and efficient service
Manage day-to-day front office operations, standards and procedures
Work closely with the senior management team to drive service, efficiency and consistency
Support with scheduling, training, reviews and ongoing team development
Act as a visible duty manager presence across the hotel when required

About You:

Currently a Head of Department or strong Assistant Front of House Manager ready to step up
Experience within quality hotels, ideally luxury or boutique
A natural people leader – calm, confident and approachable
Highly organised, with strong time-management and communication skills
Comfortable working across reception, duty management and night operations
Tech-savvy with experience of hotel PMS (Opera or similar an advantage)
