About Us
As developers of renewable energy, we collaborate with landowners and local communities to boost clean energy generation across the UK. With a growing pipeline of projects supporting 11GW of connections, we are expanding our team to support this growth.
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Project Management Team and drive the development and construction of renewable energy projects, including ground-mounted Solar, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and Wind Energy.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, proactive, and an effective communicator who can build trusted relationships at all levels. A strong interest and understanding of renewables, along with a passion for leading and delivering projects in collaboration with Land Managers, is essential.
Role and Responsibilities
The Project Manager will be crucial in delivering a diverse and dynamic portfolio of projects. Collaborating closely with Land Managers, Grid Connection Managers, and the Planning Manager, you will coordinate efforts across all business functions to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and aligned with the project program.
Key skills and Experience
- Manage a portfolio of projects, working alongside various business functions to ensure delivery according to program milestones.
- Maintain and control the Risk Register, documenting actions and tracking mitigation efforts.
- Oversee project budget control, ensuring spending aligns with approved budgets.
- Present project overviews to key stakeholders at a senior level.
- Supervise Due Diligence processes, collaborating with the project team to mitigate risks in line with the program and budget.
- Update and track the project action log regularly.
- Coordinate all aspects of design development for Design Assurance.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with the Construction team.
- Oversee and update modeling inputs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead project meetings and reviews with the project team.
- Prepare Gate Papers by compiling information from the project team to influence stakeholders and support investment decisions.
- Manage the HSE file, ensuring actions and decisions align with CDM best practices.
- Collaborate across all areas of the business, emphasizing relationship building and working towards shared goals.
