The opportunity to work in varied settings across the beautiful county of Derbyshire, including Hospitals, Health Centres and patient's homes. The opportunity to provide a quality, good value service to a wide variety of patient types and develop working relationships with other services, trusts and our Podiatric Surgery team. CPD arranged by the Podiatry Service in addition to the essential learning required by the trust.
To have involvement in team meetings and the opportunity to make valuable contributions to the team meetings, staff forums and via Staff Surveys and Pulse Checks.

Our purpose is to provide community health services to a patient population of over one million people in Derbyshire and Derby, as part of Joined Up Care Derbyshire.


We employ around 4,200 substantive staff, caring for patients in 11 community hospitals and more than 30 health centres, as well as in clinics, GP practices, schools, care homes and, increasingly, in people's own homes and via virtual consultations.


During the pandemic response we have led the implementation of public vaccination centres in collaboration with partners across health and social care.

The post holder will eventually also be expected to plan and manage their own caseload, which will include providing specialist care to patients with diabetes, rheumatological and biomechanics.


As part of the Podiatry Team and Wider Trust, contribute to the development and adhere to the Podiatry Department and Trust policies, strategies and objectives.
Degree or Diploma in Podiatry. Registrant of Health Care Professional Council (HCPC).
Registrant of Health Care Professional Council (HCPC).
Local Anaesthesia Certificate

Degree in Podiatry
Experience of minor surgical procedures.

Able to liaise with and share care with other Health Care Professionals.


Car Driver
Car driver with a full driving licence or the ability to travel to various locations during the working day
