As we embark on our transformative journey, we are seeking an outstanding individual to join our team as the Associate Director of Operations for Surgery and Critical Care.
As the Associate Director of Operations, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of surgery and critical care services within our trust. You will work closely with clinical leaders, operational teams, and external partners to drive excellence, innovation, and patient-centred care.
As the Associate Director of Operations for Surgery and Critical Care, you will play a pivotal role in our journey toward excellence. Collaborate with the Divisional Director, Associate Director of Nursing, and other senior leaders to develop and implement the division's strategy. Your focus will be on optimizing surgical pathways, enhancing critical care services, and ensuring seamless patient flow.
# Elective Hub Development: PAHT is actively developing an elective hub in partnership with our Integrated Care System (ICS). As the Associate Director, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and management of this hub, streamlining elective procedures and improving patient access.
# Robotics in Healthcare: Our commitment to innovation extends to robotics within surgery and healthcare. Personal and Professional Development: Whether it's leadership training, skill enhancement, or exposure to innovative technologies, we'll be there to support you at every stage of your journey.
# Performance Management: Monitor key performance indicators, identify areas for improvement, and drive operational efficiency. You will collaborate with clinical teams to ensure high-quality care delivery.

Assuring high-quality care and compliance with associated standards
# Meeting contractual and national performance requirements
# Contributing to the longer-term strategic planning, risk management, and sustainability of the Trust and its services
# Proactively manage the relationships with commissioners and partners including those at Place, and in the Integrated Care System

Significant demonstrable experience of senior operational management
Educated to Masters level or significant management experience
Evidence of CPD plus postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience
