Job Purpose

The role of the PMO Administrator is critical to the successful delivery of IT Services and IT Projects. This role will work with the Regional Head within our DES IT department and the PMO Lead will provide key Administrative support to the Service Delivery Managers and Project Managers.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide administrative support to Project/Programme and service Delivery Managers in the DES department.
  • Coordinate management meeting including arranging, minute taking,
  • Organising and collating project documentation in line with company standards
  • Some diary management of the Senior Leadership team when required
  • Creating internal and external reports.
  • Support management of project dashboards across the DES project portfolios.
  • Support project managers in the completion of lessons learned reviews post implementation and manage actions through to completion
  • Support with financial reporting across the function.
  • Other administration activities as required in order to ensure project & operational excellence.

Knowledge / Experience

  • Strong experience in a Project Administration role preferably within an IT project environment.
  • Very familiar with all MS Office suite and can use effectively.
  • Ability to engage and learn the use of new software tools to manage the delivery
  • Excellent communication skills, can engage with colleagues at all levels.
  • Experience in customer facing environment
  • Can understand or learn quickly project management tools
  • Broad understanding of the key performances and business value chain
  • Industry experience knowledge
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to manage complex problems and issues and soundly balanced commercial judgement
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • A self-starter and will tackle tasks head on.
