This is an exciting opportunity to join a test consultancy who provide comprehensive testing solutions to clients across various industries. They pride themselves on delivering high-quality software testing services that meet the unique needs and requirements of their clients. The team are committed to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

As a Test Analyst, you will be responsible for collaborating with clients to understand their testing requirements, develop tailored test strategies, and execute testing activities to ensure the quality and reliability of their software applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to gather and analyse project requirements, objectives, and constraints, and develop customised test plans and strategies to meet their specific needs.
  • Execute test cases and scripts across various testing phases, to identify defects and ensure software quality.
  • Utilise industry-standard testing methodologies, tools, and best practices to conduct thorough and efficient testing activities.
  • Document and communicate test results, defects, and issues to clients in a clear and concise manner and provide recommendations for resolution and improvement.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients throughout the testing process, including test planning, execution, and post-release validation.
  • Participate in client meetings, workshops, and presentations to discuss testing progress, findings, and recommendations, and provide expert advice and insights.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard tools and technologies, such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress.
  • Execute automated test scripts across various testing phases
  • Integrate automated tests into continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to support agile development practices and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools, with a focus on delivering high-quality testing solutions to clients.
  • Previous experience in software testing or quality assurance, preferably in a consultancy or client-facing role, is desirable.
  • Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB certification) is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a proactive and customer-centric approach.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and project requirements, and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

This is a great opportunity to work with prestigious clients and diverse industries and projects. With opportunities for professional development and career development, this is a chance to establish yourself within a growing business and become an integral part of the team. Enjoy a balanced work-life with flexible arrangements and great benefits. Based in Plymouth, we offer hybrid office options, prioritising the right fit over location. Whether starting your testing journey or advancing your test career, we would encourage you to reach out for a discussion.

Please note – we are working exclusively with Re:Test Group to run their recruitment process and ensure they can focus on looking after their clients and doing what they do best As such all third-party applications and direct enquiries will be passed to us.
