The Priory Group invites you to become a key member of our esteemed team by establishing your own clinic as an Independent Doctor within our renowned hospitals across the UK. As a Private Practice Consultant Psychiatrist with The Priory Group, you'll have the unique opportunity to control your work time and earning potential, which may be part or full time, working in addition to your primary employment, or simply expanding your current Private Practice.
With a rich legacy of providing exceptional care, we empower clinicians like you to thrive in their practice while making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients, operating as a self-employed Independent professional while benefiting from the extensive resources and support our leading mental health organisation can provide. We seek to invite experienced Consultant Psychiatrists to join our team, with the chance to build and manage a private practice offering both inpatient support and outpatient services at our sites. As a self-employed practitioner, you'll have the freedom to structure your clinic according to your unique vision and schedule. Your earning potential will vary based on your availability, and also the service you partner with, but you would be provided a referral fee for therapies and a bed night fee for patients under your care in inpatient wards, in addition to facilities and administrative support team to enable you to prioritise your patients' needs while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Experience in substance misuse or general psychiatry
- A strong understanding of Clinical Governance and regulatory frameworks.
- Successful completion of a DBS check, funded by your hospital.
