Period: 4 - 6 months

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s / Applied Sciences / Human resources management

What will you do?

  • To assist with employment contracts and all related confirmation letters, chasing references and providing induction’s for all new starters;
  • To assist with temporary contracts, inform managers and chase accordingly;
  • To assist with probation period reviews and appraisals, send appropriate forms to managers and chase accordingly;
  • To take part in Human Resources-related projects and provide assistance, views and feedback when required;
  • Update and maintain the staff database and providing statistical HR-reports when required;
  • To update and maintain the HR policies and procedures and to monitor the onboarding and offboarding processes and provide feedback when required;
  • To contribute to the continuous improvement and efficiency of HR systems and strategies;
  • Dealing with recruitment; placing advertisements, arranging selection interviews and all other administrative tasks related to recruitment;
  • Assist in exit interviews with employees who are leaving and completing reference requests from new employers;
  • Interviewing for junior and administrative roles and providing management with feedback and advice about applicants;
  • Act in accordance with, all P&O Ferrymasters policies.
