Mechanical HVAC Project Engineer (Hands Off) Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 + Van or Car Allowance
Location: Hybrid London (1 day per week)

Are you an experienced Mechanical/HVAC Project Engineer or Supervisor looking for your next career step?

Our client, a well-established HVAC maintenance and installation company, is expanding their projects team and seeking a motivated Mechanical HVAC Project Engineer to work directly under the Project Manager, acting as his number two.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong hands-on installation or project experience who’s ready to step up into a more senior, client-facing, and commercially involved engineering role.

As the Mechanical HVAC Project Engineer, you will support the Project Manager in delivering a variety of mechanical and HVAC upgrade projects across commercial sites. Conducting site surveys, taking measurements, site access etc.
• Monitoring project progress and ensuring work aligns with quality and safety standards
• Assisting with project planning, scheduling, and coordination
• Liaising with clients, engineers, and subcontractors
• Ensuring compliance across installation and upgrade works
Projects typically include plant room upgrades, boiler replacements, calorifier installations, pipework modifications, and chiller replacements, with values up to £500k.

Current or previous experience as a Project Engineer, Mechanical Supervisor, HVAC Installer, or similar
• Strong background in installing mechanical and HVAC plant
• Understanding of commercial HVAC systems and plant room equipment
• Ambitious, proactive, and ready to grow into a more senior technical/project role

Van or car allowance
• Hybrid role: 1 day per week attending London sites; remainder WFH
• Opportunity for progression and professional development
