Mechanical Engineer Handover Job location: Our Client an Engineering company are seeking an Mechanical Engineer Handover
for a contract position in Reading - Burghfield location. This role is placed within Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Construction or highly regulated industry. As a Mechanical Engineer - Handover you will assist in the delivery of an ongoing Mechanical & Electrical package in a nuclear environment near Reading. As a Mechanical Engineer you will support Project Management to ensure outsourced Mechanical design meets requirement. Ensure Mechanical project scope is satisfied efficiently and effectively.
Assist with the verification and population of the installed equipment for Asset Registers, O&M manuals.
Work alongside design engineers to ensure designs are fit for purpose and identify design solutions Peer review of sub-contractor produced drawings and documentation against project specification requirements.
Help develop and maintain a good working relationship with clients and suppliers, including the identification, assessment, and integration of new Electrical sub-contractors.
Witnessing factory acceptance tests and projects sign off.
Supporting the scheduling and tasking information to the Lead Engineers and Project Management to support project delivery
