Client Details Michael Page Engineering & Manufacturing are working in partnership with a prestigious UK based manufacturer who supply an exceptional range of products to a large customer base across the UK and internationally. With several sites across the UK this manufacturing business are looking to recruit a driven, strategic and proven Head of Projects to take full, site-wide responsibilities for all projects at their manufacturing facility in Hull. Description The Head of Projects / PMO will form part of the senior leadership team of this impressive manufacturing facility and, along with their team, will have responsibility for overseeing all projects through their full lifecycle, from conception to completion. Other day to day responsibilities will include: Managing multiple projects across both internal and externals stakeholders Establishing processes for managing scope through the project lifecycle, setting quality standards and assessing risks Growing the project team, providing direction, motivation and ensuring schedules are kept on track Reporting project updates, risks and outcomes to all senior stakeholders, escalating where needed and adapting work plans accordingly Creating a collaborative working environment, within matrix teams and across different departments, both in and outside of the businessProfile Successful candidates will have a strong manufacturing background and a proven ability in leading and developing complex projects. You will also possess: Proven background in project management, PMO and managing both internal and external stakeholders Ability to manage multiple projects and oversee projects through full lifecycle Excellent people management, time-keeping and communication skills at all levels Knowledge of managing budgets, providing reports and ensuring success Experience of working within a manufacturing environment is desirable A relevant project management qualification would be advantageousJob Offer Up to £75k plus bonuses and a competitive benefits package Chance to work with one of the UK's most prestigious manufacturers Long term progression opportunities within the business
