Benefits: 26 days plus bank holidays Enhanced Pension Scheme Life Assurance Cycle to work Dental Care Discounted Gym Membership Job Description Oversee NPI deliverables for your assigned area (electrode, cell, module, pack). Prepare project documentation to meet key milestones and customer requirements, following the APQP methodology. Collaborate with global teams on test plan development and the deployment of global strategies. Develop and implement product validation plans during equipment commissioning and quality control phases. Analyze quality data, conduct statistical analysis, and generate reports to track trends, identify improvement areas, and make data-driven decisions to enhance product quality. Participate in product or process design and development, offering input on quality requirements and validation plans. Perform risk assessments and contribute to failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) to identify and mitigate quality risks. Work closely with cross-functional teams such as manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions. Create, review, and improve Control Plans at various stages of APQP. Lead or support root cause analysis investigations, developing corrective and preventive actions. Conduct thorough inspections and tests of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Mentor and develop junior members of the Quality Engineering Team. Skills and Experience 5+ years’ experience in a quality role, preferably in New Product Introduction (NPI). Familiarity with Core Tools (PPAP, APQP, MSA, FMEA, SPC) and quality methodologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
