Head of Marketing at Cove Attractions

Location: Remote

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Salary: Band 1 - £50,000.00 per annum

Role Overview

As the Head of Marketing for our Attraction Division, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our marketing vision. Reporting directly to the Attraction Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with our business goals. You will oversee all marketing operations, manage a diverse team, and drive the growth and success of our attractions, including the heritage sites of Shrewsbury Prison and Shepton Mallet Prison.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute dynamic marketing strategies to support our attractions.
  • Manage and allocate the marketing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Lead the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels.
  • Oversee brand development and ensure consistency across all marketing materials.
  • Drive market research efforts to uncover new opportunities and trends.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align marketing strategies with business goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team to achieve their full potential.

 

About You:

You are a seasoned marketing leader with a blend of creative vision and practical, results-focused acumen. You thrive in dynamic environments and have a track record of developing successful marketing strategies. You are a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of inspiring your team to achieve exceptional results.

Desired Experience:

  • Proven experience in a senior marketing role (minimum 2 years).
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, and social media.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and optimising resource allocation.
  • Demonstrated ability in team leadership and development.
