Role Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer with expertise in AWS to join our team. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity for growth, with the potential to lead the platform team in the future.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement AWS landing zones using best practices and industry standards
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment and testing
  • Monitor and optimise cloud performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services
  • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and features, particularly in the AI domain
  • Contribute to the development of our AI-powered medical device solutions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, with a focus on AWS
  • Strong expertise in AWS core services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, etc.)
  • Experience in building and managing AWS landing zones
  • Proficiency in using Terraform for infrastructure as code
  • Experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices
  • Familiarity with AWS AI services (e.g., SageMaker, Rekognition)
  • Knowledge of containerisation technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment
