Senior Cloud Engineer (Microsoft Cloud)

I've teamed up with an establish Microsoft Partner and MSP who are looking to accelerate the growth of their Professional Services team.


Their aim?


To deliver cutting edge Microsoft Cloud and Infrastructure solutions for innovative mid-market customers.

Your day-to-day:

  • Lead the delivery of large, complex projects, ensuring they are completed on time and to the highest standards. Adaptability is key as projects can range from 5 to 50 days.
  • Work seamlessly within a team while also excelling independently. You'll mentor junior team members and act as a technical escalation point.
  • Travel to client sites for on-site project work, building strong relationships and identifying opportunities to upsell additional products in line with our sales process.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of all customer solutions, adhering to agreed standards and ensuring configuration management records are up to date.


What You Bring to the Table:

  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure.
  • Experience: 5+ years in a similar technical position, preferably within an IT reseller environment.
  • Qualifications: Professional certifications such as AZ or MS series certifications (covering Azure or M365).
  • Additional Skills: Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, SAN/DAS storage solutions, backup technologies (Veeam or similar), antivirus solutions, firewalls (WatchGuard or similar), wireless technologies, and network setup.
  • Personal Attributes: Excellent problem-solving abilities, commercial awareness, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage your time effectively.
