Billing Supervisor Location: London (Hybrid – 2 days in the office) Salary: £40,000 per annum Industry: Professional Services About the Role We're partnering with a well-established professional services organisation seeking a Billing Supervisor to oversee day-to-day billing operations and supervise a small team within a fast-paced finance function. The successful candidate will combine strong billing expertise with leadership skills, ensuring processes run efficiently, controls are maintained, and continuous improvements are delivered. Key Responsibilities Oversee the end-to-end billing process across multiple business areas, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely invoicing Review billing data, contracts, and documentation in line with company policies and controls Support financial close and revenue recognition processes, ensuring key deadlines are met Maintain strong internal controls and ensure adherence to finance policies and procedures Support audit and compliance activities by preparing and reviewing relevant documentation Supervise, coach, and develop a small billing team, promoting collaboration and accountability Provide guidance on queries, manage escalations, and ensure SLAs and quality standards are achieved Deputise for the Billing Manager when required to maintain operational continuity Identify opportunities to improve and streamline billing processes and reporting Support system enhancements and testing within billing and finance platforms Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve billing issues and deliver excellent service to client teams Act as a key point of contact for billing-related queries across the business Maintain an awareness of VAT and financial compliance requirements About You Background in a billing role within a professional or corporate environment Experience supervising or mentoring a small team Strong attention to detail, organisation, and stakeholder management skills VAT knowledge Analytical and proactive, with a drive for process improvement and efficiency You will need to be a UK resident If this role is of interest, please submit your CV as soon as possible or alternatively contact me at harvey.kalket@investigo.co.uk
