The Role: We have partnered with a practice that is known for their esteemed heritage designs across the country that are now looking for a Conservation Architect to join their Oxford studio. The ideal candidate would be a valued member of the team when spearheading projects within Oxford the wider southwest region. Playing a pivotal role within these projects, you would be someone who has a meticulous attention to detail and a fondness for bringing work from the past into a contemporary light.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an established practice on projects that will stand the test of time

Oversee and lead conservation projects across varying scales, with a focus on cultural, educational, and religious institutions
Provide integral support to senior project leads throughout all stages of projects according to RIBA standards
Cultivate enduring client relationships by offering comprehensive support throughout project lifecycles
Take charge of projects during construction phases, potentially serving as contract administrator and collaborating closely with contractors
Actively contribute to business development initiatives through networking and involvement in tender processes
Manage project finances
Enhance the technical conservation expertise within the Oxford team while pursuing personal professional development and mentoring junior colleagues

A relevant degree in Architecture is essential along with ARB registration
A strong passion and understanding of building history and the architectural timelines within
Proficient in AutoCAD is essential
