Responsibilities:
- Take charge of the interdisciplinary technical asset projects, focusing on the development and execution of green and blue hydrogen initiatives in the UK.
- Lead the expansion of technical capabilities in electrolysis, and gas reforming technologies.
- Act as a primary point of contact, both internally and externally, assuming the role of product and technology manager for green and blue hydrogen technologies.
- Manage and steer technical project management activities, from concept to final investment decision.
- Coordinate and establish collaborative relationships with core equipment suppliers, ensuring efficient technical and commercial contracts.
- Support the business development team in fostering relationships with stakeholders and customers.
- Provide guidance and support to other units regarding hydrogen.
- Manage international contractors in collaboration with growth engineering team.
- Develop and implement interfaces for hydrogen derivatives projects, such as sustainable aviation fuels, methanol, and ammonia, as applicable.
- Effectively allocate and manage OPEX and CAPEX project budgets for the development and implementation of the hydrogen project pipeline.
Your profile:
- Possesses a bachelor's degree in process engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Brings significant professional experience in the energy, chemical, or plant engineering industry, having served in roles such as project manager or technical lead.
- Demonstrates extensive expertise in actively developing new business areas and successfully executing projects, with a preference for experience in the industrial gases sector.
- Proven track record in leading international and complex projects, working effectively with interdisciplinary project teams.
- Exhibits a high level of technical competence and proficiency in relevant domains.
- Displays an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Shows a strategic understanding of energy market trends and the ability to align with relevant customer strategy requirements.
- Applies conceptual and analytical thinking to effectively prioritize tasks, considering a holistic view.
- Capable of working independently and excels under high-pressure circumstances.
- Possesses personal credibility and excels in building positive working relationships.
- Demonstrates excellent stakeholder management skills.
