Our Edinburgh office are looking to further grow their Project Controls Team and are currently recruiting a Planner to support projects across a variety of sectors, including energy, renewables, defence, rail and utilities.
This is an exciting opportunity for you, as Planner, to be part of our successful Project Controls Team. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients to deliver best practice Controls, Planning, Analytics, and Reporting, Risk, Change, Resource and Performance Management Solutions.
As a Planner, you will be an excellent communicator, ensuring engagement and interaction with the schedule to maintain momentum towards successful accomplishment of project objectives.
Collating progress data from multiple teams to update project/programme schedule in Primavera P6
Collating cost data from multiple teams to support budget requests & update cost report
Supporting the Project Controls Manager on governance & assurance of Project Controls processes
Typically, a qualified graduate in a relevant discipline with some experience in a project control environment. Experience of working in a project or programme management environment, with responsibility for delivery or controls of individual projects, programmes or portfolios
Experience using controls/ general software applications such as Primavera (P6), Power BI, Microsoft Office Applications.
Strong time management skills, quick thinking, and ability to meet project deadlines as necessary.
Demonstrated understanding of Project Controls concepts
