Long term contract available with international energy company. This position will be based at the organisation’s modern office facilities in Kingswells, Aberdeen, with hybrid working options available.

As the Finance & Control Analyst, your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Cost management of non-operated gross budget.
  • Reviewing and signing off on monthly accruals and billing postings JV audit participation.
  • Analysing cash flow and net operated income business case updates.
  • Involvement in the SMV (proved reserves) process.
  • Providing input to and reviewing cost allocations.
  • Variance analysis/reporting follow up.
  • Budget preparation/life of field updates.
  • Admin cost reporting.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in the upstream oil and gas sector.
  • Proficiency in cost management.
  • Familiarity with monthly accruals.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant SOAPS (Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Ability to work effectively both in team environments and independently.
  • Capability to build relationships with challenging stakeholders.
