This organisation is a nationally recognised brand. They have a strong presence in the UK and are known for their innovative approach to technology and commitment to operational excellence. The Carrier Manager will be based within the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain sector of the business.

Job Description

  • Overseeing the daily operations of the logistics carrier department
  • Planning and implementing operational strategies across 3pl and 4pl partners
  • Ensuring compliance with industry and company standards
  • Coordinating with other departments to optimise operational efficiency
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to existing operational procedures
  • Reporting on operational performance to senior management and retail stakeholders
  • Managing relationships with external logistics partners

The Successful Applicant

A successful Carrier Manager should have:

  • A degree in Business, Logistics or a related field
  • Proven experience in a similar carrier focused role
  • Expert knowledge of logistics and supply chain management
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Experience working within 3pl/4pl management
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Must be Midlands based with some flexibility to travel nationally (mainly to Birmingham)
