Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter to join our team. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling various metal components using welding techniques. This is a full-time position that offers competitive pay and opportunities for career growth. Responsibilities:

  • Perform fitting and welding tasks according to specifications and blueprints
  • Utilize stick welding techniques to join metal parts together
  • Use power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and grind metal pieces
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Measure and mark materials for cutting and shaping
  • Conduct basic mathematical calculations to ensure accurate measurements
  • Inspect finished products for quality and make necessary adjustments
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
  • Experience on Conveyors is needed
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role
  • Proficiency in stick welding techniques
  • Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes
  • Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations
  • Mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical principles
  • Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and other equipment used in fitting tasks
