Overview:We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter to join our team. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling various metal components using welding techniques. This is a full-time position that offers competitive pay and opportunities for career growth.Responsibilities:- Perform fitting and welding tasks according to specifications and blueprints- Utilize stick welding techniques to join metal parts together- Use power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and grind metal pieces- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints- Measure and mark materials for cutting and shaping- Conduct basic mathematical calculations to ensure accurate measurements- Inspect finished products for quality and make necessary adjustments- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work area- Experience on Conveyors is neededQualifications:- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role- Proficiency in stick welding techniques- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical principles- Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and other equipment used in fitting tasksSkills:- Stick welding- Welding techniques- Power tools- Basic math skills- Sheet metal fabrication- Mechanical knowledge- Hand tools- Fabrication and assembly- Conveyor Installation is PreferredIf you are a skilled Fitter looking for a challenging opportunity with room for growth, we encourage you to apply.
