We're looking for an Operational Resilience Manager to join our Technology Business Services team at Tesco Bank

You'll have the opportunity to play a pivotal role within our Resilience Team working with key stakeholders to deliver and shape the Operational Resilience programme for Tesco Bank. Your primary focus will be on the delivery of our testing schedule which includes testing the impact to our important business services though a range of severe but plausible scenarios. You'll be closely working with our senior leadership team, and stakeholders across the business and influencing our future ways of working.

You'll be within the Resilience Team reporting to an Operational Resilience Senior Manager. You'll also be working with key stakeholders from across the Bank to help shape how we do things and execute the resilience testing programme.

Due to the size and nature of Tesco Bank the opportunity to broaden skills and experience across a number of different disciplines in the Operational Resilience environment, including Business Continuity and Crisis Management, are accessible, disciplines which are highly desirable experience within the Financial Services industry.

What you'll be doing

• Working at pace to manage and deliver the Operational Resilience testing programme including important Business Services scenario exercises ensuring alignment to regulatory requirements.

• Collaborating with multiple stakeholders across the Bank to support the delivery of the testing schedule.

• Ownership of the management of key outputs from exercises ensuring any actions and vulnerabilities are captured and tracked through to completion.

• Support the overall delivery of the Operational Resilience programme including helping to educate and inform stakeholders across the subject of Resilience.

• Working with colleagues across the Resilience team to support continuous improvements in our policies, frameworks and processes.

We need you to have

• Operational Resilience regulations - knowledge and practical experience of implementing these within a Financial Services organisation.

• Experience of delivering exercises through a range of severe but plausible scenarios.

• Strong communication skills, having the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders across the Bank .

• Experience of Operational Resilience frameworks and policy management .

And if you have any of these, even better

• Experience of management and execution of Business Continuity policies and frameworks.

• Understanding and experience of incident/crisis management disciplines.

• Experience of working in an agile working environment.

Role Alignment

Following the announcement regarding Tesco's' strategic partnership with Barclays, this role will support our banking business and will transfer to Barclay's UK towards the end of 2024, subject to regulatory approval. Please note, the transfer date may change.
