This teaching role involves teaching groups of children with challenging behaviours in an alternative provider in Blackburn. The requirements will be teaching across the Humanities subjects (Geography, History and R.You will hold substantial knowledge of working with young people with barriers to learning and will be able to inspire and nurture pupils to their highest level of learning. Your daily routine will involve continuously adapting and working alongside pupils to make their time in school as beneficial and productive as possible. Your main objective will be to support these pupils with this, as well as making sure they are not displaying any triggers or any signs of unease. Their main aim is to offer the best possible quality of learning to pupils with a tailored curriculum to the individual students across their classes.

The role will initially be a temporary role via agency, leading to a permanent contract directly with the school following a qualifying period.

They support diverse group of pupils with a range of complex behavioural needs. They are continually seeking quality passionate staff members, who with additional experience and training may eventually become full time or even supply staff members.

Have previous experience of working with children or young people in a PRU or AP setting.
