Location: London (must be 3 days in the office)
Compensation: c. £Tax accounting – preparation of year end tax numbers for the stat accounts, workings, disclosure etc. Cash tax planning / budgets / forecasting / tax authority payments on account
UK corporation tax returns – prepared internally for submission to HMRC, and managing the relationship with HMRC.
Responsibility for non-UK taxes, especially corporate income tax and VAT. Management of tax audits
Transfer pricing – ensure annual compliance across the various countries and monitoring risk margins
Corporate income tax planning – restructuring entities, possible acquisitions or disposals, new country set-up etc.
VAT – review of UK VAT returns & oversight of overseas VAT returns, management of any VAT audits / VAT litigation, general VAT queries
Payroll – overview of payroll including review of PAYE settlement agreement, dealing with ad-hoc questions, salary sacrifice, advice to HR department
Ad-hoc – tax strategy, M&A, Senior Accounting Officer, supervision of R&D claims, royalty income and withholding tax etc.
Qualified Tax Accountant
