About the Role

Cornmarket Group Financial Services Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team. As a Tax Advisor, you will be responsible for preparing clients' tax returns, discussing the tax return outcome with the client, and liaising with revenue commissioners to ensure the return is complete.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare both standard and self-assessed tax returns for clients
  • Answer client queries in relation to tax and financial advice in a timely and polite manner
  • Have a professional and empathetic approach to customer queries
  • Comply with risk control and regulatory requirements that are relevant to this role
  • Maintain commercial awareness relevant to this role
Requirements
  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience working within a tax advisory, financial services or related field
  • A minimum of two years in an administrative or customer-focused role essential
  • TMITI exams desired but not essential
