As a Purchasing Manager, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring goods and services to support our manufacturing processes. Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to optimise cost, quality, and delivery performance.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide strategic procurement guidance.
Analyse market trends and maintain awareness of industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Manage supplier relationships, conduct performance reviews, and address any issues to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain.
Monitor inventory levels and work towards optimising stock levels while minimising carrying costs.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager in a manufacturing environment.
In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supply chain management.
Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Proficient in using procurement and inventory management software. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
